Jimi Hendrix was a legend in his own time. Rolling Stone magazine has ranked him number one among the top 100 guitarists in the history of music. He was born on December 21, 1940, and died on December 4, 1993. Zappa had a career, spanning more than 30 years. Zappa composed more than 60 albums in his career, and introduced as a solo artist, a band with the name of The Mothers of Invention. Good luck stroked her when she came across a man by the name of David Crosby while she was performing in Florida; he suggested her to record a sole acoustic album of her own. In the year 1971, she went on to create her own band by the name of Ladies of the Canyon. After so many struggles in her life and her passion for music, she eventually became a huge name and gained instantaneous accomplishment.

Last but not the least to make it to the leading all time greatest musicians is Kurt Cobain. He was born on 20 February in the year 1967, and he died on 5 April in the year 1994 at the age of 27. This young man was a famous songwriter, guitarist and lead singer of his self-created famous band known as Nirvana. Kurt Cobain was the person who initiated subgenre of unconventional rock known as grunge. Smells Like Teen Spirit was the very first album produced by this band.
